Dana Serrano received her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy in 2000 at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She had the privilege of studying under Dr. Stanley Paris, a pioneer in the field of physical therapy, who advanced the practice of manual therapy techniques for physical therapists in the United States. Although she spent her first few years specializing in spinal stabilization and orthopedics through the implementation of manual therapy, her true passion was based in Parkinson’s Disease and neurodegenerative movement disorders. She became Parkinson's LSVT Big certified in 2010, and started her physical therapy practice in 2013, targeting improved long-term outcomes for gait and mobility. After caring for her father with ALS, and a mother with early onset dementia, she shifted her physical therapy practice to incorporate supportive services and cognitive rehabilitation for those suffering from memory loss. In 2020, her company expanded, offering continuing education to teach clinicians more directed treatment approaches for patients with neurological diagnoses. In 2022, she added her second practice location in Roswell, Georgia. Dissatisfied with the quality of home health offered in the community, she has devoted her career to providing the highest quality therapy in the home with a personalized approach. Her mission is to not only provide rehabilitative therapies, but to deliver long term supportive therapy, covered by Medicare, to ensure graceful aging in place.
